Everyday I Have the Blues

Really I do and I’m not afraid to admit it. I miss going out with different women and finding how unique they are individually. I miss the thrill and gamble of starting a new relationship. The uncertainty of it is what makes it beautiful. Ah to be young and to be able to play the field is one privilege i truly enjoyed in my late teens. I can say I’ve done it all. I’ve loved, I’ve fooled around, I’ve hurt and more than anything else I’ve been hurt. 

There’s a certain dignity of being alone. To be alone is to be free, like a stallion running to see where the road ends. Fortunately, I’ve come to realize that stallions that run like that will end up old and broken down before reaching the end of the road. Still alone of course.

It’s been almost 6 months since i stopped playing the field. I still miss it though. The awesomeness of it all. I won’t lie about it. And I won’t lie at No matter how much I miss it and how much I want to go back, I won’t. Ever.:)

What I have now is much, more important and What I have makes me complete. I think at this point I’ve found what I’ve been looking for.  I found Her. And to my surprise, my ideal girl is actually far from what I originally thought was Ideal! i won’t ever trade in what I have now with her with anything else in the world! and certainly not with going back to being free and alone with infinite uncertainties. fuck that. And that’s(or should I say she’s the reason I quit playing the game. FOR GOOD.)
